Notice of Finance Committee Work Session

May 2, 2006

            Notice is hereby given that the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly Finance Committee will meet in the first of three budget work sessions from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, to review the Kenai Peninsula Borough FY 2007 Annual Budget. This work session will be conducted in the Seward City Council Chambers, 410 Adams Street, Seward, Alaska. The Finance Committee will hear presentations from the following:

            11:00 to 11:10                        Seward Seniors

            11:10 to 11:20                        Cooper Landing Seniors

            11:20 to 11:40                        Lowell Point Emergency Services

            11:40 to 12:00                        Bear Creek Fire Service Area

12:00 to 12:30Lunch Break

            12:30 to 12:50                        Seward Bear Creek Flood Service Area

            12:50 to 1:00                          Kenai Peninsula Borough Economic Development Dist.

            The second and third Finance Committee work sessions are scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Tuesday May 16, 2006, from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Kenai Peninsula Borough departmental budgets will be reviewed at that time. A detailed schedule will be published on May 11, 2006. The public is invited to attend these work sessions.
