Notice of Finance Committee Work Session

Notice is hereby given that the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly Finance Committee will meet in the third of three budget work sessions from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2006, to review the Kenai Peninsula Borough FY 2007 Annual Budget. This work session will be conducted in the Borough Assembly Chambers, 144 N. Binkley, Soldotna, Alaska. The Finance Committee will hear presentations from the following:
09:00 to 09:20 Solid Waste (Admin, Central Peninsula Landfill, Seward Transfer Facility, Homer Baler; Landfills, Hauling and Waste Programs)
09:20 to 09:45 Risk Management; Workman’s Compensation, Underground Storage Tank Removal
09:45 to 10:05 Borough Assembly (Administration, Clerk, Elections, Records Management)
10:05 to 10:25 Kenai Peninsula College
10:25 to 10:40Break
10:40 to 11:00 Central Emergency Services / CPEMS
11:00 to 11:20 Finance (Administration, Financial Services, Sales Tax, Collections)
11:20 to 11:45 Maintenance
11:45 to 12:05 Mayor’s Office
12:05 to 12:45 Other Budget Requests
