NOTICE OF MEETING

July 10, 2006

          Notice is hereby given that the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly has been invited to attend a scoping meeting sponsored by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on the proposed Chuitna Coal Project. The purpose of the meeting is to take public testimony and answer questions on the project. The public is invited to attend. This EPA meeting will be held in the Assembly Chambers, Borough Administration Building, 144 N. Binkley Street, Soldotna, AK, on Monday, July 10, 2006 as follows:

                     4:00 pm to 6:00 pm            Informal Open House

                     6:30 pm to 7:30 pm            Project Presentation and Q & A

                     7:30 pm to 9:30 pm            Formal Public Testimony
