KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH
ORDINANCE 2004-19-04
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $690,000 FROM THE LAND
TRUST FUND FOR CONSTRUCTING ROADS AND UTILITIES IN
BIRCH AND GROUSE RIDGE SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2004-25 authorized the sale of 21 residential parcels within Birch and Grouse Ridge Subdivision by sealed bid in October 2004; and
WHEREAS, constructed access and utilities do not exist to these parcels; and
WHEREAS, constructing roads and installing utilities to service the 21 residential parcels will greatly enhance the marketability and value of these parcels; and
WHEREAS, the KPB Planning Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting of August 9, 2004 recommended enactment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH:
SECTION 1. The sum of $690,000 is appropriated from the fund balance of the Land Trust Fund to account 250.21210.5BEAN.43011 for the purpose of constructing roads and utilities to service 21 residential lots within Birch and Grouse Ridge Subdivision.
SECTION 2. That appropriations made in this ordinance are of a project length nature and as such do not lapse at the end of any particular fiscal year.
SECTION 3. This ordinance takes effect immediately upon its enactment.
