SUBJECT: Ordinance 2005-19-53, Appropriating $211,499 for the purchase of a new Platinum Mammography System.

The attached ordinance appropriates $211,499 from the Central Peninsula General Hospital Plant Replacement Fund for the purchase of the a new LoRad M-IV Platinum Mammography System with Stereotactic Biopsy Attachment.

Shortened hearing is requested on this ordinance to allow for the purchase and installation of the new Mammography system and available for use/certification in late summer.
