SUBJECT: Ordinance 2006-19, Appropriating Funds for Fiscal Year 2006-2007

Ordinance 2006-19 appropriates the money necessary to fund the borough's annual budget for fiscal year 2006-2007 (FY07). The amounts included in the ordinance correspond with those appearing in the FY07 Kenai Peninsula Borough budget as presented to the assembly on April 18, 2006.

The ordinance includes the local funding and in-kind services necessary to support the FY07 school district budget. That amount of the appropriation corresponds with the school district proposed budget presented to the assembly on April 4, 2006 and approved by the assembly through the adoption of Resolution 2006-025 on April 4, 2006.

Public hearings on May 2 and May 16, 2006, are requested.
