SUBJECT: Ordinance 2006-19-06, appropriating $250,000 from the Borough’s General Fund to reimburse the CES Capital Project Fund for their contribution for construction of an emergency response center.
Ordinance 2005-19-47 (Mayor) Substitute, enacted on June 6, 2006, appropriated $250,000 from the Borough’s General Fund to partially reimburse Central Emergency Service Area (CESA) for its $1,000,000 contribution for construction of the new emergency response center. Section 2 of that ordinance indicated the assembly intended to also appropriate $250,000 in fiscal years 2007, 2008, and 2009 from the Borough’s general fund as full reimbursement to CESA of its contribution to the emergency response center.
This ordinance would appropriate $250,000 in fiscal year 2007. The amounts for fiscal years 2008 and 2009 will appear in the budget documents that will be presented to the assembly for those respective years.
