SUBJECT: Ordinance 2006-16, ACMP Grant for FY 2007
The Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development has awarded the Borough $38,500 to carry out Coastal Management Program tasks and consistency reviews. This ordinance accepts and appropriates the grant funding and authorizes the mayor to sign the grant acceptance agreement. The grant will be appropriated to the accounts as described in the proposed ordinance.
The grant requires a local match of 50 percent. Sufficient local funds to meet this match requirement are included in the FY 2007 approved budget.
