Subject: Ordinance 2006-32 amending KPB Chapter 5.04 regarding budget procedures
Chapter 5.04 of the Kenai Peninsula Borough code of ordinances establishes the fiscal year of the borough and other budget procedures. The borough code, however, does not address budgetary control and the basis upon which the budget is prepared. The attached ordinance updates the code to establish budgetary controls and identifies the basis upon which the budget is prepared.
Attached is a new budget policy which shows the administrative implementation of the budgetary process.
