RESOLUTION 93-49
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF THE MAY 11, 1993 SPECIAL NORTH PENINSULA RECREATION SERVICE AREA ELECTION
WHEREAS, the Canvassing Board of the Kenai Peninsula Borough met on May 17, 1993 and tallied the votes of ballots cast; and
WHEREAS, the vote tallies from the North Peninsula Recreation Service Area as recorded by the Canvass Board are as follow:

Nikiski Pool Facility Renovation

PROPOSITION 2
Handball/Racquetball Court Construction

NO 599
NOW THEREFORE, THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH DECLARES:
SECTION 1. That Proposition 1, authorizing $3,000,000 in bonded indebtedness for renovation to the Nikiski pool facility, was approved by the voters of the service area.
SECTION 2. That Proposition 2, authorizing $500,000 in bonded indebtedness for construction of a handball/raquetball court, was not approved by the voters of the service area.
ADOPTED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH ON THIS 18th DAY OF MAY, 1993.
