A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF THE MARCH 12, 1996 SPECIAL ELECTION FOR THE CENTRAL KENAI PENINSULA HOSPITAL SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, the Canvassing Board of the Kenai Peninsula Borough met on March 14, 1996 and tallied the votes of ballots cast; and
WHEREAS, the vote tallies from the Central Kenai Peninsula Hospital Service Area as recorded by the Canvass Board are as follows:
PROPOSITION 1
APPROVING ADDED OPERATIONAL AUTHORITY
YES 2,047
NO 2,260
NOW THEREFORE, THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH DECLARES:
SECTION 1. That Proposition 1, approving added operational authority for the Central Kenai Peninsula Hospital Service Area, was not approved by the voters of the service area.
ADOPTED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH ON THIS 19th DAY OF MARCH, 1996.
