SUBJECT: Resolution 2006-055; Authorizing Award of Contract for Ambulance Billing Services for Central Emergency Services, Nikiski Fire Service Area and Bear Creek Fire Service Area
On May 16, 2006, the Kenai Peninsula Borough solicited and opened proposals for Ambulance Billing Services for Central Emergency Service, Nikiski Fire Service Area and Bear Creek Fire Service Area. The Request for Proposals was advertised in the Peninsula Clarion on April 20, 2006.
Four (4) proposals were received and were evaluated consistent with the RFP. The final ranking is as follows:

The attached resolution requests award of contract for this work to Systems Design NW, Inc. as the highest ranking firm for the base bid of $20.50 per transport with an estimated total transport per year of 1,500, with an estimated total yearly expenditure of $30,750.00.
All expenditures for these services will be charged to account(s) 206.51110.43011 (NFS), 207.41210.43011 (BCF) and 211.51610.43011 (CES).
