SUBJECT:    Resolution 2006-064; Authorizing Award of Contracts for KPB Fleet Replacement FY2007

 

 

 

On May 30, 2006, the Kenai Peninsula Borough solicited bids for eight new replacement vehicles: six for the Maintenance Department; one for the Solid Waste Department; and one for the Road Service Area. The Invitation To Bid was advertised in the Peninsula Clarion and the Anchorage Daily News on May 30, 2006.

 

On the due date of June 22, 2006, four (4) bids were received. All bids were deemed responsive and were carefully reviewed to ensure that minimum specifications were met. Attached is a copy of the bid tabulation sheet.

 

Based on the above and contingent upon delivery within the time frame specified in the bid documents, it is the administration’s recommendation that the following bids be accepted and that purchase orders be issued as follows:
