SUBJECT: Resolution 2006-072, A Resolution Authorizing the Acquisition of Lot 2, “WHITE ALICE” Subdivision, Homer Recording District for a Kachemak Emergency Service Area Fire Station
The Kachemak Emergency Service Area has selected Lots 1 and 2, “WHITE ALICE” Subdivision for a fire station site to serve the Diamond Ridge Road area. Please reference the attached aerial photograph. The Homer City Council passed Resolution 06-21 endorsing KESA’s fire station site on Diamond Ridge Road. The owner, Cook Inlet Spill Prevention and Response, Inc. (CISPRI) has signed an Earnest Money Receipt and Purchase Agreement to sell subject lot for $37,300.00. The KPB will grant CISPRI an easement for its existing communication tower on Lot 2. Funds will be expended from Kachemak Capital Projects Account Nos. 446.51810.06481.48610 and 446.51810.07481.48610 for this acquisition.
