On July 25, 2006, the Kenai Peninsula Borough solicited bids for the 2006 Capital Improvement Project Spruce Creek Bridge Replacement. The Invitation To Bid was advertised in the Peninsula Clarion July 23, 26, and 31, 2006, and Seward Phoenix Log on July 27 and August 3, 2006. On the due date of August 8, 2006, bids were received.                         KPB Ordinance 2006-19-09 Accepting and Appropriating State Grant in the Amount of $1,800,000 for Borough-Wide Road Upgrades is to be considered at the August 15, 2006 Assembly meeting. The project costs will be set up in the project’s contingency account 434.33950.E3SPR.49999.
