SUBJECT: Resolution 2006-082, award of contract for the purchase and installation of the Emergency Response Center Workstation Furniture
The Purchasing and Contracting Office solicited and opened proposals for this project on August 17, 2006. The Request for Proposals was advertised in the Anchorage Daily News on July 25 and in the Peninsula Clarion on July 25 and August 1. Three proposals were received.
The project consists of provision and installation of the 9-1-1 Dispatch Workstations for the Emergency Response Center.
The attached Project RFP Evaluation Sheet lists the responding firms. Three proposals were received and were graded per the attached Evaluation. The attached resolution requests award of contract for this work to Watson Furniture as the high point firm for the Dispatch Furniture including Additive Alternate 1 and 2 for a total amount of $104,362.66.
All expenditures for this project will be charged to account number 455.53110.06EOC.48210.
