SUBJECT: Resolution 2006-087 supporting the efforts to preserve and restore the Jesse Lee Home in Seward
As described in the accompanying letter of request from the Friends of the Jesse Lee Home, the Jesse Lee Home (“Home”) has served an important role in the development of Alaska. Friends of the Jesse Lee Home is attempting to raise funds to restore the Home and is seeking partners to use it as a statewide high school leadership educational facility. If adopted, this resolution will show the borough assembly’s support of these efforts to preserve this historic facility. Thank you for your consideration.
