SUBJECT: Resolution 2006-092, supporting the Anchor Point Senior Housing Project
This resolution is presented for your consideration at the request of Anchor Point Senior Citizens, Inc. (APSCI). Attached is the letter requesting this support from APSCI and explaining the efforts to date taken by APSCI to determine the need for senior housing in the Anchor Point area and seeking funding accordingly. At this time, their consultant Fred Lau of Homer, Alaska, is preparing a grant application, which must be submitted by October 31, 2006. This resolution would support the grant application and is not a request for funding from the Kenai Peninsula Borough. Your support would be appreciated.
