MAY 28, 2013 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING Notice is hereby given that an application has been received by the Planning Department of the Kenai Peninsula Borough. Location: Vacate the 20-foot utility easement from north to south direction located within Lot 3 Block 3 of Lofty Estates Subdivision Unit 1 (Plat HM 76-4); within Section 3, Township 6 South, Range 14 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska, within the Kenai Peninsula Borough.KPB File 2013-077 PC Resolution No. 2013-10. Purpose as stated in petition: Utility line mentioned in Note 6 is actually on Lot 2 rather than Lot 3. There was an error in the initial plat. See attached HEA map showing correct location of power. This was the line to the old Loftgren homestead cabin. The power line has always been in the same location. The easement drawn is not in use nor has any purpose. The easement simply clouds the plat for the property owners. Petitioner(s): Darell S. and Jeanette M. Lawson of Chugiak, Alaska. KPB File 2013-073. Purpose as stated in petition: Yukon Road is the thorough fare. Pollard Street would probably not be constructed.
