The AK DOL&WD provides industry employment detail for employees whose employers are not exempt from reporting. The fishing industry includes family business employees that are exemption from reporting, so these employees are enumerated by crewmember licenses sold. Crewmember counts and employment in “food and kindred products,” the sector that includes fish processing, are presented.
